FINAL THANKS

15 of the 16 UK RH offices took part in the RHide for Stuart, with at least 111 individuals taking to the saddle or providing essential support on the road. Although we didn't link all of the offices as originally intended, we successfully completed over 1160 miles and linked every office apart from the miles between Exeter and Bournemouth.

From reading the blogs, most of the RHides were eventful with challenging meteorological conditions, mechanical failures and other assorted incidents making the journeys memorable to say the least. In spite of the hardships the RHiders battled through and to date the RHide for Stuart has raised over £11000 (including the fund matching agreed by the board of management). Thank you to all the sponsors who have contributed to this significant total of money.

In addition, a great deal of effort has been put into the RHide for Stuart. Particular thanks must go to:

The office coordinators: Dave Tarrant (pictured), Lizzie Jolley, Julian Carolan, Jamie Green, Ali MacMillan, Richard Potter, Allison O' Neill, Granville Davies, Rosemary McKay, Steve Graham, Dean Stromeyer, James Rees, Laura Sanderson, Victoria Clipsham, Toby Foot, Graham Bignell, Sam Godding and Colin Toovey.

The 111 RHiders which included LDA architects and friends and family.

The support van drivers who were always there for us......

Marketing & Communications who provided the stickers, T-shirts, the press release and most importantly Chris Daintith who has been busily building and updating both the website and the blog site.

The Board of management for supporting the event financially and for being at the start line early in the morning in London for 2 of the legs despite a very long night at the cocktail party.
The RH Sports and Social club who kindly provided the money for accommodation and travel to save us from cycling back!

The supporters we met en route who gave generously.

Enterprise rent-a-car, Richard Bilinski in particular, for the free support vans.

The supporters of the event that were on call, lent us their flat, met us at the offices or en route to keep us going to the end of the road.
Well done everyone!
Steve Truluck
